The Rosemount 8800 CriticalProcess Vortex Flow Meter allows for safe, on-line sensor replacement. The additional needle valve creates a double block and bleed to safely access the sensor housing. This allows users to remove the Vortex flow sensor without shutting down the process and provides an added level of safety in critical applications with aggressive or high temperature flows. The unique design eliminates the need for bypass lines or preventative sensor replacement, reducing overall installed costs.

± 0.65% of volumetric rate for liquids
± 1% of volumetric rate for gas and steam
± 0.70% of mass flow rate in water using MultiVariable option
± 2% of mass flow in steam using MultiVariable option
